Our U16 Indoor Squad had another brilliant day out at the Leinster U16 Indoor Tournament in Gormanstown last weekend.

The pool games started with a cracker against Old Alex - true end to end indoor hockey with Old Alex finally edging the win by a goal in an evenly contested game. 

Next up Three Rock who took an early lead, the girls however stuck with it to grab one back and despite multiple chances it ended a draw. Naas now needed wins from the next two games to stand any chance of getting out of the pool stage - a solid win against Skerries was off-set by a narrow 1:0 loss to hosts Boyne. While disappointed not to make it through to the play offs, the girls were not far off any of the games and enjoyed every minute of it - tournament hockey at its best.
