The Fabulous little 6th Class 3s had their most brilliant game on Sunday in the glorious sunshine, every one of them it was end to end with Naas scoring first. 

It was 1-1 at half time with both goalkeepers making important and many saves. Naas went 2-1 up second half with one of our beginners at the start of the year scoring.  2-2 then Sutton scoring a lovely goal. 

After lots more pressure by Naas finally they scored a great 3rd goal and continued to apply lots of pressure and defend ferociously.  Sutton matched them and got a 3rd goal with only minutes left.  

Again play went up and down the pitch it was looking like a penalty shoot out would have to decide the game and out of nothing and with 3 seconds left Sutton rolled the ball into the far corner of the goal finishing 4 3 for Sutton. 

A heartbreaking end for these amazing Naas girls however more to be proud off than not.  They left everything on the pitch it was a fabulous sporting and very competitive match.  Sutton had beaten them before Christmas 8-0 so amazing progress by the Naas girls and our very talented goalkeeper Izzy who has made a Massive difference to the girls confidence in the past few weeks and played an important part in ensuring we competed so well today and won our last few matches.  

To all the Naas 6th Class 3 girls the Club are very proud of you all and look forward to seeing you make more great progress.  💙💛💙
