When? Sunday, September 28th, 2025
Time? 09:30am – 3:30pm
Where? This event is taking place at the same time in two locations.
The Hockey Pitch at Naas Sports Centre
The Hockey Pitch at St. Marys Secondary School
What’s happening? We are walking 2,254 laps of our hockey pitches. This is the distance from Naas to Lee Valley Hockey Club, where the Green Army made history at the 2018 World Cup Final.
Who’s it for? EVERY Naas Hockey Club member - juniors and seniors! This is an opportunity for all members to help out our club with this fundraising initiative and we are encouraging members participation and to bring family and friends along.
Why walk? We’re aiming to raise €10,000 for the club. Every lap, every step, and every sponsor makes a difference.
How to join in? All members should have received their sponsorship card via Clubzap, WhatsApp groups, or your captain.

*Local businesses who sponsor over €50 will have their company name printed and displayed at the event on laminated signs
