The Naas U16 Girls Indoor Squad played in the Leinster U18 Indoor Tournament in Gormanstown over the weekend.
Following an early start to get there we took a little time to get going but overall, some quite positive results as the day progressed.
From the 6 games; we lost 3, drew 2 and won 1 which unfortunately wasn't quite enough to make it out of the pool stage. It was all about continuing to build indoor experience & introducing new players while having fun and hope we achieved that.
Big thank you to Boyne HC for hosting the tournament - 4 full size indoor courts under one roof with both boys & girls hockey being played all day with a fantastic group of people helping manage logistics, technical benches & umpiring to ensure it was a great success.
Good days hockey - thank you.
