U12 Boys shield final - Naas vs Railway Unio

Naas played host to Railway Union at the Sports Centre on Sunday last in the U12 shield final, the progress this Naas team has made this season has been remarkable which meant they were rewarded with a final to finish up the season. They were up against a very strong Railway team who scored early in the first half only for Harry Feely to score a fine goal from a well worked short corner to equalise. The game was end to end with some fine passages of play with the Naas team putting it up to the opposition throughout, Michael Byrne in the Naas was kept on his toes but could do nothing about the 3 further goals that Railway scored. Naas were very unlucky not to score a couple more and it was the more clinical finishing from Railway which won it for them. The final score being 4-1 to the visitors.
